RCMA (Research Council Of Makeup Artists) was founded in 1952 by pro MUA Vincent Kehoe. He wanted to create a brand that would revolutionise the pro makeup world. The company remains a family business, and you tend to only hear about it through makeup professionals. RCMA Foundation has a unique formula, made with 50% pigments, and 50% emollients, so it does suit every skin type. It gives a medium coverage, but is so easy to build up without it looking cakey! You need very little product to achieve a natural look and cover your whole face. These generally lasts me 6 months, making it incredibly good value for money!
Because this makeup is made with natural waxes and oils, they sit on your skin and therefore don’t oxidise. The colour you start the day with, is the colour you finish the day with! They hold up better, last longer, and are much more versatile than liquid formulas. Perfect Foundation does need setting though, but that’s pretty easy. Simply spray with Time Setter or Oil Strike Spray, or set with Perfect Colour Powder, or Translucent Powder.
