Hello!
Do you know that feeling when you wake up one day and just decide you’re going to do something completely different? That’s what happened to me, but I am an Aquarian after all! Not only are we ruled by Uranus, the planet that amongst other things governs surprising events, but we’re also rebels at heart, free spirited, non-conformist, and are determined to make a powerful difference in the world!
Something changed during the first lockdown. Like many, I had time to stop and take a look at my life, where I was going, and what I wanted to do. I was already an Independent Beauty Guide for LimeLife by Alcone, and knew I wanted to take that forward somehow? In my opinion, I had access to the best professional makeup and vegan skincare in the world, but what could I do that involved all these gorgeous products? One day, out of the blue, the penny dropped, and I announced to my long-suffering husband I was going to become a Makeup Artist, and the rest, they say, is history!
My animal obsession...
I love animals, which is why I only use Vegan, Leaping Bunny Certified, plant-based skincare and makeup. My beliefs and love for animals is at the core of what I do, and who I am. I am incredibly lucky to have fulfilled my childhood dream. of having my very own, beautiful horse! He takes up a lot of time, but he’s worth it!
I also have the most amazing rescue dog! He was in rescue for a year as he was overlooked due to being so reactive of EVERYTHING in life. I was determined to re-home him, despite his issues, so did everything possible to make that happen (Aquarian personality in action!). I enlisted the help of the most amazing and respected dog trainer, who worked with him while he was still in rescue. It’s been hard work, but we now have the most amazing, loyal and loveable pup, who is loving a normal dog’s life!
I LOVE makeup too! I don’t usually wear a lot of it, but I love how it makes me feel. It does wonders for my confidence, and creates the absolute best version of me for whatever the occasion.
